Senator Anderegg’s SB 92 calls for a state-wide rail system plan from the Department of Transportation. The plan will create a model to improve current transportation and expand it with high-speed routes between southern and northern Utah. A more effective rail plan can improve Utah’s air quality, especially as Utah’s population continues to grow. Public transportation promotes united communities, clean urban areas, and a more sustainable future.
